Over 75% of young adults say U.S. society would benefit from more efforts and opportunities to develop a greater sense of citizenship and community. Now is the moment for a big idea with a one-of-a-kind program that truly brings us together. Starting in North Carolina, Community Corps (CC) is a localized, non-partisan and nationally scalable initiative that invites America’s youngest adult citizens (18-22) to succeed in life  as individuals and as community members by participating in a unique summer citizen boot camp. It’s a bottoms-up approach to universal service to help us help ourselves by building a sense of ”fellow feeling” among people who can work together, despite their differences.
